The ancient Celtic triskelion symbol, mounted on a base of rich hued Abalone shell, is a truly beautiful piece of jewellery. Triskele comes from the ancient Greek word, meaning 'three legs'. It's earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic period and is said to symbolise the three worlds; the celestial, physical and spiritual, but interpretations vary.

Life cycles: The most common interpretation is a representation of the cyclical nature of life, often cited as birth, life, and death or past, present, and future.

Nature and elements: It can symbolise the three primary realms: earth, water, and sky.

Personal balance: The three spirals are often used to represent the balance of mind, body, and spirit.

Progress and eternity: The perpetual motion of the spirals can symbolise progress, evolution, and the eternal journey of the soul.

The divine: It has been linked to various concepts of a triple deity, including the Maiden, Mother, and Crone phases of a Triple Goddess.
